Beams &
Coffered Ceilings
A grid of recessed panels in a ceiling, framed with beams or moldings. This type of architectural detail adds drama and dimension to any space.
Crown Molding
Decorative molding placed at the intersection of walls and ceilings. It adds elegance and visual height, especially in living rooms, dining rooms, and entryways.
Door &
Window Casings
Trim that surrounds doors and windows, giving them a framed look and covering the gaps between drywall and frames. Custom casings can dramatically enhance the character of a room.
Cased Openings
Trimmed transitions between rooms without doors, often styled to match other trim in the home for a cohesive look.
Accent Walls
(Shiplap, Tongue & Groove, etc.)
Decorative wood paneling on a single wall that adds texture and a custom look, often used in living rooms, bedrooms, or bathrooms.
Chair Rails
A horizontal trim piece installed around 32–36 inches from the floor. Originally used to protect walls from chairs but now serve as a decorative function.
Window Seats
& Benches
Trimmed and finished seating nooks built into window bays or empty wall areas. These can add storage and may be combined with other trim features.
Baseboards
Installed along the bottom of walls to cover the joint between wall and floor, baseboards add a clean finish and protect your walls from kicks, furniture, and vacuum damage.
Floating Shelves
Custom-fitted shelves that are trimmed and finished to look like part of the architecture — perfect for living rooms, home offices, or dining rooms.
Wainscoting &
Wall Paneling
Decorative wall treatment that adds texture and depth. Styles include the follow:
• Board & Batten: a construction or design style where wide boards are installed vertically with narrow strips (battens) covering the seams between the boards
• Wainscoting: a construction or design style where wooden panels (or wood-like materials) that cover the bottom third or half of an interior wall, typically topped with a chair rail.
• Beadboard: a construction or design style using vertical slats of wood with a “bead” or groove between each board.
• Shiplap: a construction or design style using long, horizontal boards with notched sides that allow the boards to overlap slightly, creating a tight fit and a distinctive gap between each board.
